text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">\nA very common part needing replacement on 1965 and 1966 Mustangs and GT350&#8217;s with the 289 High Performance engines is the clutch equalizer bar. &nbsp;Sometimes this part is referred to as the &#8220;z bar&#8221;. &nbsp;At any rate, originals are often bent, twisted, reinforced, repaired, and modified over the years. &nbsp;It is even interesting to note in<a href=\"http:\/\/www.virginiaclassicmustang.com\/SAAC-SHELBY-REGISTRY-1965-1966-1967-4TH-EDITION-2011-P198686.aspx\" target=\"_blank\"> the Shelby American Automobile Club&#8217;s Registry<\/a>&nbsp;that there are many notes of these bars having been replaced on &#8217;65 and &#8217;66 GT350 Shelbys when they had just a few thousand miles.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">\nObviously, it is nearly impossible to find a good original. &nbsp;Even if you do find one that looks good, there is a very good chance that it is twisted.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">\nWe carry a reproduction from Scott Drake Mustang Parts that is absolutely super. &nbsp;Here, we have a few comparison photos of one of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.virginiaclassicmustang.com\/65-66-289-HI-PO-CLUTCH-EQUALIZER-BAR-P352.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">our reproductions<\/a> vs. an NOS bar. &nbsp;Please note that there are a few reproductions on the market. &nbsp;This one is by far the best. &nbsp;One of the others fit and functions just fine, but it just doesn&#8217;t have the exact smooth bends that match the original.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">\nOf course, you will notice the grease fitting in this reproduction. &nbsp;We recommend removing this and welding up the hole if you want it exactly like the original. &nbsp;Other than that, we would recommend this part on even the highest end restorations.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both;
